Vision Featured in Human Trafficking Awareness Video

Vision was recently featured in Tennessee Valley PBS' human trafficking awareness video, Close to You. The video is designed to raise awareness and promote discussion of this crime, and features Vision’s DoubleTree by Hilton Chattanooga/Downtown hotel, which has been instrumental in driving awareness and action in the company and community. Human trafficking is a danger for communities as a whole, but hotels stand to be the first line of defense for victims of these crimes. This is somewhere a little awareness can go a long way, and Vision was honored to help Tennessee Valley PBS' campaign to grow that awareness. Internally, Vision Hospitality Group has designed and implemented a company-wide training program to raise awareness on human trafficking and the steps to take in suspected cases.

Check out the video below, which includes interviews with law enforcement, law makers, and members of the community. The DoubleTree’s general manager, Patty Martinez, is one of those interviewed and speaks on the responsibility of hotels to help law enforcement fight against slavery. President and CEO Mitch Patel is also featured in the video to make a statement on Vision's stance on the issue of human trafficking.
